hope you all had a...

and that you ate lots of sugar & sweets.... for me.  cuz i'm absolutely dying with my no sugar for a month challenge.  i've goofed up a couple times.... but have been holding strong for a few days now.  it totally stinks and my husband agrees cuz i am a bit irritable!  [thanks babe for the beautiful flower bouquet.  love it and love you!]

and for those of you who have e-mailed me wanting the quilt measurements... i'm flattered, but i can hardly believe you are serious!  i would be more than happy to share under one condition: you are fully aware that I am not an expert at this whole sewing/quilting thing.  that during the process of making this quilt i had to un-jam my bobbin (is that what its called?) a dozen times and re-string my needle a bazillion times.  and the number one thing you need to understand is that this is my very first quilt, ever.... and more important first real sewing project!  so if the measurements don't "add" up it's not my fault.... just trim it and re-trim it like i did!  (i'll try to put that into consideration when I draw up a pattern though.)  still want it? then check back, soon!

Why can't I have your will power? I did good for one week out of this entire year so far, YIKES!!! I still have some major baby weight hanging around. How long can you use your baby for an excuse?? I feel as long as I am calling her my baby, I am safe! I still call my five year old my baby by the way, hahahaha. I love that you are sewing, because I have been breaking it out as well. Keep posting your fun projects, and hopefully I will be inspired!

Love the pic!

Oh I love your quilt. And you must be so excited to have done it all on your own with no pattern. I've been thinking about doing something like that myself but I'm not as couragious as you! I'm loving a pattern from a book called "Livin Large" by Anka Treasures. It has Live, Love, and Laugh on it and it speaks to me. I've got to get that book soon. Congratulations!Since your feeling so crafty, you should join me in a Pay it forward challenge. I signed up on someone else's blog and now I'm hoping someone will sign on mine! It should be fun!!!
